INFO ABOUT TEXAS TOYS
This website is just information for others about my dealings with Texas Toys. I hope it helps others make an informed decision before they purchase no matter how nice they seem on the phone, because it changes once you have your car. All images can be clicked to enlarge. I have also posted the inspection that I had done from the local porsche dealer as an image.
Here is an email that I received from customer support at Texas Toys. I was told on the phone there is no phone number or name of a person I can talk with:
Dear Dave,
I apologize you do not think this car arrived in the same shape it left. All cars this age have scratches, dings, dents. I apologize you thought you were getting a brand new carfor 10k , as they were 100k new. Please do not insult me with another email like this again. The pictures are a disgrace to your intelligence. Have you never seen a 20 year car from underneath? From the pictures it looks like it very dirty, which is very common for cars that are shipped on open trailers. The car was detailed and very clean prior to it leaving Please go clean and wash the car and then take some pictures of other 20 year cars and send those photos to me. Then park the other 20 year old cars next to this one and take photos of each. And please send them to me. You will see that as we advertise, our cars all into the top 10% vs all other cars.
It sounds like to me that 99% of your issues are with the car being dirty, and a few little minor normal wear and tear items which one could expect from a 22 year old car and you need to wash it. Again Dave, the cracks in the dash are normal for a car this age. Also Dave, if you do all of this and are still not satisfied, you may return the car at a 20% restocking fee less the money you invested in the car prior to it being shipped. These are the documents you signed in the packet when you purchased the car. You will be responsible for shipping, and repairs you had performed on the car prior to purchasing it.
If you feel it was damaged in route to you, and the damage was done by the shipping company, then you may pursue an insurance claim.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us back here at customersupport@texastoys.com

If you click on the picture below you will be redirected to a page that contains all the pictures of the car. I believe the hood damage, door damage, and possibly the splash pan in the front to be damage from the shipper but all other items are just from neglect that the car experienced from the previous owner that was not disclosed by Texas Toys. This Car is going to need over $5000 in repairs just to get an inspection sticker. Still hasn’t been emission tested so possibly could cost more.
